Bio

I'm a builder, tinkerer, and operator who has been writing code since age 10. I love the hardest problems — the ones that require you to understand a system all the way down to the metal. Over two decades I've launched startups, scaled platforms to millions of users, and recently spearheaded a wave of cutting-edge AI deployments: voice sales agents, live AI coaching systems, RAG pipelines, and production knowledge bases.
I currently run Loji as Founder and Fractional CTO, pairing deep technical execution with strategic leadership for early- and growth-stage companies. I'm also Co-Founder & CTO of Ashore App, a SaaS platform I built from the ground up that's still running a decade later, and Founder of TavernScribe, a new product at the intersection of AI and tabletop gaming.
Before that, I spent eight years at Chatbooks as Cloud Engineering Team Lead, architecting and operating a production Kubernetes environment serving millions of users. Earlier in my career I led all technical aspects of GoMedigap as Sr. Software Engineer, built IoT command-and-control systems for oil well pumps at Force X Design, and architected client software at Atomic Axis.
I care deeply about building AI responsibly, keeping user data private, designing for real measured outcomes, and knowing when a simpler solution serves people better than a complex one. I bring the same energy to the teams I work with — lining up everyone's magnetic fields so we achieve more together than we ever could alone.
I come from a military family; both grandfathers served (Navy pilot and Marine admiral's bodyguard), and two brothers are Marines, one of whom deployed to Afghanistan. I'm the oldest of nine kids and take that responsibility seriously. Long term, I want to do R&D that serves our country. Even longer term, I believe cold fusion is the key that unlocks humanity's ability to reach the stars — and yes, I'm a lifelong science fiction fan.
